Research on the English Translation Feature and Significance of the Internet Language_英语论文

摘要

中国文化博大精深，汉语言是中华文明中必不可少的一部分，它是历史文化的沉淀和反映。而汉语网络语言则是现代科技发展的产物，它继承汉语言文化，又发展于网络信息文化。

汉语网络流行词发展至今，五花八门，它的快速发展归结于网络信息化的爆炸式传播，几乎每一个能够上网的人，无论什么年龄阶段，什么社会地位，都有自由的言论权和满足他们表达不同观点的诉求。热词也就伴随着热点事件在网络的快速传播，自然而然的被光大网友所接受、使用。随着中外交流日益频繁，其他国家的民众更愿意了解中国文化，而网络文化这样的草根文化，来源于社会基层民众，更能反映社会发展趋势和潮流，网络语言的英汉翻译就显得尤为重要了。

本文拟从对中文网络语言现状的探究和网络语言英汉互译尤其是汉译英的两方面进行探讨：在第二章中，我们对中文网络语言的起源以及网络语言的特点进行了深入探讨。在第三章中，从相对专业的角度分析了网络语言的现状以及英汉翻译的困难及其原因，然后结合翻译方法相对深入地探究了网络语言翻译更适合哪种翻译方式。

网络语言的翻译与文学的翻译是不同的，我们主要对网络语言的翻译特点进行探究。为了更好的呈现这种不同，首先我们会详细地分析网络语言的定义、发展过程、特征以及意义。其次，我们会具体列从翻译的专业角度，探究网络语言翻译最常见的几种重要方法。本文旨在从翻译举一些网络语言英汉翻译实例，从中归纳出一些翻译特点和困难之处。最后，从结合基本翻译方法的角度出发，分析网络语言英汉翻译的特点和重要意义。

Abstract

Chinese culture is broad and profound, and the Chinese language is a part of the culture in essential which is also a historical and cultural precipitation and reflection. While Chinese network catchwords are the product of the rapid development of modern science and technology, they inherit the Chinese language and culture, and are in the development of network culture.

All kinds of Chinese Internet buzzwords today, lie in the rapid development of network information explosion. Almost every Chinese civilian who is capable to avail the Internet, no matter what age, what social status, has free speech rights and the aspiration to fulfill their demands to express different views. However, the network catchwords are also booming accompanied by the hot social events which rapidly spread through the Internet. Net users are naturally accepted the hot words and they are obviously willing to broadcast them. With the communication in broad fields between China and other nations becoming increasingly frequent and the growing prosperity of Chinese social economy, people in other countries are more willing to seize the opportunity to understand the Chinese culture. Network culture, namely,  grassroots culture, more originated from people from basic society. It takes an important role to reflect the trend of social development and is valuable to research the translating features to make it easier for foreigners to understand. 

This paper views from the status quo of the Chinese network catchwords. Especially two main aspects of the translation are discussed in this paper: in the second chapter, the origin and characteristics of Chinese network language are discussed. In the third chapter, we analyze the network language translation’s difficulties and their in-depth contributor.What is more, combined with the translation methods, this paper deeply explores a better way which is more suitable for the network language translating.

Network catchwords translation and literary translation are fairly different, so this paper gave priority to the translation characteristics of Internet language research. Firstly we define a detailed analysis of the network language evolution process, characteristics and significance. I should touch on that we will make a list of some specific network language translation examples, to sum up some characteristics and difficulties in translation. Finally, from the professional perspective of translation, we explore several important methods of the most common network language translation.

This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of network translation and the significance combined with some basic translation methods.
