Study on English Vocabulary Learning Strategies Based on Word Power Made Easy_英语论文
摘要
词汇学习作为英语学习中不可或缺的一部分,对二语习得者在听说读写基本技能的表现上有着重要的影响。本文主要从百科知识语义观出发,对《英语说文解字》一书中所体现的词汇学习方法进行系统分析,从而为词汇学习者提出几条切实可行的词汇学习方法。本文总共分为五个部分。第一部分主要是对当前中国学生词汇学习状况总结以及对本文潜在影响的阐述;第二部分是文献综述,作者主要对结构主义学派,转换生成学派以及认知主义学派在词汇研究上的方法进行概述;第三部分是对《英语说文解字》中所体现的词汇学习方法的分析,基于这些分析,作者将在第四部分提出四条英语词汇学习方法的建议;第五部分是全文的总结。

Abstract
As an indispensable part of English learning, vocabulary accumulation plays a crucial role in second language learners’ performances in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Based on the Encyclopedia view of meaning, the author will make a systematical analysis on the vocabulary learning methods used in word power made easy and give some practical suggestions to vocabulary learners. There are all together five parts in this essay. In the first part, the current situation of vocabulary learning in China and the potential influence of this essay will be illustrated; in the second part, the approaches to vocabulary learning in Structural Linguistics, Transformational-generative linguistics and Cognitive Linguistics will be stated; in the third part, vocabulary learning methods used in Word Power Made Easy will be analyzed and based on the analysis in this part, four suggestions to vocabulary learners will be given; the last part is a conclusion of the whole essay.
