摘要 

在信息化时代，人们获取国际资讯的积极性大大增强，新闻翻译变得日益重要。时政新闻在各国媒体发布的重要新闻中占据了主要位置，是国内外人士了解一个国家发展现状、发展趋势、解读政府政策方针的途径。转述语在时政新闻中非常常见，通常以直接引语或者间接引语的形式转述某个事件、观点或者评价。由于中西方语言文化差异，英汉新闻语篇中的转述语也有很大差异，如转述来源、转述动词、转述句式、转述形式不同，但其目的都在于增强新闻的真实性和权威性。目的论指出翻译是人类有目的的跨文化交际行为，因此对时政新闻转述语翻译具有指导性意义。本文从目的论角度出发研究时政新闻中的转述语翻译，通过分析转述语的语言特点,结合大量实例详细论述词义引申、增译、文中注释和语态转换等相应的翻译方法,本文发现目的论在时政新闻转述语翻译中具有重要指导作用,译者应根据新闻英语的语言特点和受众选择恰当的翻译方法。
