摘要

反乌托邦文学的主题往往是对未来社会的一种悲观的文学想象，它以其巨大的警世意义屹立于世界的文学之林。因此探求反乌托邦文学中所蕴含的现实意义一直以来是人文社科领域的一大研究课题，但是反乌托邦文学中的大众传媒要素并没有得到过多挖掘，且以传播学的视角切入的相关研究深度依旧不足。本文拟从传播学的培养分析理论角度出发，探求反乌托邦文学代表作品《美丽新世界》中的大众传媒要素在达成社会控制的过程中所发挥的作用。研究发现：统治集团通过赋予大众传播一定的倾向性来操纵社会共识，从而达成社会控制的目的。在此结论的基础上，本文还挖掘了大众传媒所具有的“培养功能”的现实意义，并提出了一些用于应对大众传媒负面影响的建设性建议。
