摘要 

《宠儿》是美国作家托尼·莫里森的第一部历史小说，这部小说在1987年一经问世就轰动了整个美国文学文坛 ,并在1988年获得美国普利策文学奖和肯尼迪奖。1993年，莫里森凭借这部作品获得诺贝尔文学奖,成为历史上获此殊荣的第一位非洲裔美国作家。《宠儿》中的女性哥特式特点，体现了莫里森对女性哥特写作手法的传承及创新。

本文以《宠儿》这部作品中的女性哥特特点为突破口，透视女性哥特这种文学体裁对传达作品内涵和意义上所起得重要作用，并对托尼·莫里森以及这部作品的内容进行简洁的概要。本文介绍了女性主义、哥特主义、女性哥特的产生以及其三大特点，并且整理出《宠儿》中的人物、情节和意象并对其中的女性哥特三大特点进行透视和分析。同时，将莫里森对女性哥特写作手法的创新，以及在女性主体意识上的促进和对作品中主题的升华方面进行了深刻的探讨。在研究的基础上，作者在《宠儿》中所运用的女性哥特式主义式特点和叙述技巧背离了传统哥特模式，从而体现了女性哥特是独立的文学体裁。本文旨在为读者提供一个新思路,从女性哥特角度分析《宠儿》可以更深入地探讨作者对剧情及人物的描写，进而学习此种理论的写作手法。
