摘要 

《看不见的人》是美国黑人作家拉尔夫·艾里森创作的长篇小说。该小说自1952年出版后，在美国文学界和美国社会引起了巨大反响，被誉为“划时代的小说，可以说是现代美国黑人生活的史诗”。小说讲述了一位黑人青年在白人主导的社会里饱受种族歧视，不断寻找民族文化和自我身份的过程。主人公从南方到北方，体验了学校、工厂、政治团体等不同社会环境，经历了一连串的希望幻灭的打击，他认识了自我，逐渐走向成熟。由于小说中的女性形象少有人研究，本论文将通过选取小说中部分女性人物进行分析，从女性主义的视角探讨小说中的女性形象，以为小说的解读提供一个不同的视角。并且通过分析证明这些埃里森笔下女性形象的特征与他对一些女性生活经历的见证、生活背景以及他作为黑人的身份有关。作品也折射出作者因黑人身份所遭受的痛苦与女性痛苦的共鸣，体现出作者对于父权制社会中地位低下的女性的同情。
