摘要

中国文化纪录片是对外传播中国文化，提高中国文化软实力的重要途径。此类纪录片中含有大量富有中国文化特色的文化负载词，是此类纪录片字幕翻译的难点和关键。本文以《国宝档案》其中两集的文化负载词为研究语料，从苏珊·巴斯奈特的文化翻译观出发分析并评价其译文，对其采取的翻译策略作出了总结，旨在探究哪种翻译方法能更好地把纪录片中的文化信息传播给目的语观众。通过研究发现，译者在翻译文化纪录片字幕中的中国文化负载词时，应根据具体情境灵活采取各种翻译策略，通过实现文化功能对等，传递文化信息。
