摘要

商务领域中，委婉表达对于进行有效的跨文化交际，实现成功的商务合作有很大的帮助。因此研究委婉表达是十分必要的。本论文将详细地对委婉语进行分类。委婉语可以分为以下几类，即传统委婉语，文体委婉语，讳饰委婉语，夸饰委婉语，职业委婉语，政治委婉语。此外还将重点阐述委婉语的四个交际功能，即避讳功能，避俗功能，礼貌功能，掩饰功能。对商务英语中委婉语的表达方式进行描述也很重要。最后，本文将对委婉语的翻译方法进行叙述。通过分析商务英语中的委婉表达及其翻译，让大家得以正确认识了解并学习。若商务人员能够对委婉表达进行正确有效的运用，则会对他们的国际贸易产生积极且不可估量的促进作用。
