摘要
中国文学有着数千年的悠久历史,以特殊的内容、形式和风格构成了自己的特色,其中的古典文学以唐宋诗词及四大名著为代表。宋词作为盛行的一种中国文学体裁,是一种相对于古体诗的新体诗歌之一,标志着宋代文学的最高成就。而宋词又以婉约为宗,其特点主要是内容侧重儿女风情,蕴含柔婉之美。美学作为翻译理论的一部分,在翻译中国古典诗词的实践过程中发挥着重大作用。越来越多的译者尝试用翻译美学理论来再现诗词之美,其中许渊冲先生的翻译美学理论对中国诗词翻译有着巨大影响。本文试图从翻译美学角度赏析宋词英译,结合许渊冲提出的“三美”理论,以宋代婉约词的英译本为研究对象,从音、形、意三个方面进行具体分析,探寻译者如何在翻译美学理论指导下使译文更好地传达原词之美,更好地发扬我国古诗词的美学思想与内涵,从而论证“三美”原则对于中国古典诗词翻译的指导价值。
