摘要 

汤亭亭作为第一代美国移民的后代， 1976年发表的《女勇士》被认为是女权主义的代表作、美国华裔文学的里程碑。本文试图运用女性主义批评理论来分析小说中的主要人物。当她们遭遇人生障碍和生活不公的时候，不同的应对方式体现了同质文化的冲突和异质文化间的碰撞。同时，作者对这些女性角色的刻画也表达了同样的主题，即女性要学会自立、自强、自信、为个人未来，自我实现而奋斗。
