摘要

查尔斯·狄更斯是维多利亚时代最伟大的作家之一，正如斯蒂芬·茨威格所说，他是“最能充分表达他同时代人的共同利益的天才”。《大卫·科波菲尔》是狄更斯最具代表性的一部作品，他称它为“心中最宠爱的孩子”。这部作品主要描述了主人公大卫·科波菲尔的一生经历，同时作者将许多自身的经历也融入到了小说中去。

据研究表明，查尔斯·狄更斯的作品大多具有尖锐的社会批判、温和的人道主义、生动的外在写照，幽默又辛辣。人性是既是一个热点话题，又是一个永恒的主题。人类的社会发展史其本质就是一部人性的发展史。狄更斯对人性的探索广泛而又深入。

该文将主要结合社会背景和历史背景，运用文献资料法和比较分析法，分析小说中不同的人物形象，并在此基础上探讨人性的光辉。同时，重点探讨忠实的管家佩葛蒂、古怪的贝西姨婆和温柔的妻子艾格尼丝身上所体现出的人性的光辉。
