摘要

亨利·戴维·梭罗（Henry·David·Thoreau,1817-1862）,美国作家、思想家、自然主义者,19世纪超验主义运动的重要代表人物。他于1845年春天,在老家康科德城的瓦尔登湖边建起一座木屋,过起自耕自食的生活,并在那里写下了著名的"瓦尔登湖"一书。佛教传入中国后,禅学或修禅思想一直获得广泛的流传,在东汉至南北朝时曾译出多种禅经,禅宗成为相当重要的流派。禅宗思想提倡心性本净,佛性本有,见性成佛,讲究"天人合一"。人与自然一直是梭罗关注的核心,在当时工业时代的背景下,梭罗对于思想境界的探索深入而又精炼,提出了人要回归自然的思想,这与禅宗"天人合一"的思想相契合。

本文将通过文献法,搜集和分析研究有关梭罗"瓦尔登湖"中自然观以及中国禅宗思想的文献资料。同时运用比较和对比法,比较梭罗的自然观与禅宗思想的异同,通过对比分析研究两者的深层关系。

本文旨在研究探寻"瓦尔登湖"与中国禅宗思想的关系,也将简要分析一下"瓦尔登湖"中自然观与禅宗思想对现代生态学的影响。本文中对梭罗自然观以及禅宗思想的剖析含有作者主观色彩,可对此类研究的学者起一定的参考作用。
