摘要

玛雅·安吉洛是当代美国著名黑人女作家，她的自传《我知道笼中鸟为何歌唱》记录了她童年直至成为一位母亲的过程，出版之后在当时的美国社会也获得了一定关注。随后，她出版的六本自传记录了她一生的经历，如缩影一般记录当时美国社会对待非裔美国人的变化过程。黑人女性在美国社会是最弱势的群体之一，面对性别、种族甚至阶级的多重压迫。尽管如此，玛雅·安吉洛还是选择勇敢的向当时的黑暗社会发起挑战，进而得到成长，涅槃重生。本文通过探讨三对关系：种族歧视与种族成长，黑人女性遭受强奸与黑人女性成长，种族迁移与种族归属，揭示非裔美国人的族裔发展历程及特征。
