Construction and Interpretation of English News Discourse under Relevance Theory_英语论文

摘要

在语音识别和机器翻译的助力下，机器口译技术近年来已经有所发展并出现了一些设备，但机器口译设备目前尚无法脱离随着全球化和互联网的快速发展， 英语新闻报道是人们了解国际经济、军事、教育科技、文化、体育等时事的重要途径。由于新闻内容丰富题材多样理解新闻对听者存在诸多困难，因此，探讨新闻语篇生成结构的表征性特征对新闻语篇解析的是十分必要的。

Sperber 和 Wilson 的关联理论认为交际是一个明示—推理的过程，并且认为交际是一种认知活动。即说话人的交际意图是把自己的说话意图清楚的传达给听话人，而听话人的交际意图是把说话人的话语和自己的认知结合，进行相关的推理，然后理解说话人的交际意图。

英语新闻也是记者和读者之间一种特殊的交际方式。因此，本文基于关联理论解析英语新闻的生成，并讨论关联理论对英语新闻听力理解的影响。首先，本文简要的介绍了关联理论的内容和主要观点和英语新闻的结构特征——倒金字塔形，因为新闻结构是理解新闻内容的关键。其次，运用关联理论的主要观点，选择具体新闻语篇从明示推理、认知语境和最佳关联具体分析关联理论构建英语新闻结构并且如何解析英语新闻。最后得出结论：运用关联理论和宏观语义结构可以以最小的认知付出获得最大的认知效果。在英语新闻的生成和理解过程运用关联理论可以提高英语新闻教学的效率。
