摘要

近些年,中国与世界各国的文化交流日益紧密，中国电影已经成为世界认识我国文化的重要渠道。然而中国影片在世界的发展仍面临着巨大的挑战,电影字幕的翻译质量是影响我国影片出口总数及观众喜爱程度的重要原因。

生态翻译学中的翻译生态与自然系统具有同构隐喻的特征，是将翻译活动放到整体的生态系统中分析，为翻译学提供了一个新的研究视角。本文尝试从生态翻译学三维转换视角对电影《西游降魔篇》字幕翻译进行案例分析，探究译者在这一文本生态环境之中做出的“适应”与“选择”，从语言维、文化维、交际维三个层面分析该影片英译本的质量。并就此总结华语电影字幕翻译的策略，为此类承载着传统经典文化的喜剧影片提供一些可借鉴的翻译经验,帮助字幕译者更好地把生态翻译学应用于影片译制中，从而为华语影片产出受欢迎的英译本。
