On the Chinese Translation of the Disability-Related Vocabulary_英语论文

摘要

近年来，中国社会更加关注残障人群体，并且越来越多地建设高效实用的公共设施。众所周知，西方社会对于残障人群体的福利关怀起步较早，他们拥有先进的社会福利模式以及完善的法律保障体系。在这些方面，我国还有许多经验需要向西方社会学习借鉴。立足于此，本论文着重阐述残疾人相关词汇的汉译，不仅是研究英文中残疾人相关词汇的表达和相应汉语翻译，而且是借此进一步分析中国社会对残疾人的态度变化。

文章中分析阐述了残疾人相关的英文表达以及其相应的汉语翻译，以及由此分析出整个社会的态度变化。本文首先通过分析西方的残疾人社会模型以及社会语言学理论，了解文化中的人文精神。随后列举残疾人相关词汇的英文表达及其汉语翻译，并且从口语化角度、感情色彩角度、实际应用角度对比上述汉语翻译。从而发现，即使中国社会残疾人公共设施起步较晚，但是社会大众已经开始关注残障人群体，第三章则就此问题，从立法，大众意识和残奥会词汇翻译这三方面，分析总结公众对于残疾人态度的变化。

我国有许多关于残疾人群体的研究，包括心理学和经济学角度。但是关于残疾人相关词汇汉译的研究则几乎是空白。语言能够影响人们的态度，而意识和态度同样能够影响语言。本文立意亦在于能够传播人文关怀的理念，构建一个平等包容的社会心态。
