摘要

语言总是和一定的文化相联系，一种语言总是反应一定的文化。因此翻译不仅涉及语言间的转换，同时也涉及文化差异的处理。文化差异的表现是多方面的，其中包括历史背景，地理环境，宗教信仰，社会习俗等等。本文重点从词语内含差异、词语空缺、文化缺省等方面讨论文化差异给翻译造成困难，该研究对翻译初学者认识并应对翻译实践中的文化差异问题具有一定的帮助。
