Discourse Strategies of Hosts’ Interrupting Guests in Reality TV Show Exemplified by Ellen Show_英语论文

摘要

言语打断已有的研究主要从言语打断的定义、功能、效果以及与性别、权力、地位的关系展开，鲜有涉及电视综艺节目主持人和嘉宾之间的言语打断策略。本研究以2015年至2017年英文电视综艺节目《艾伦秀》打断话语为语料，以面子理论和礼貌策略为理论基础，分析主持人对参与嘉宾的言语打断策略。结果表明，为保全参与嘉宾面子，主持人主要采用积极礼貌打断和消极礼貌打断两种策略，以控制节目时间、掌控话题、转换话题或表达不同的观点。本研究对于主持人和嘉宾构建和谐的关系具有一定的意义。
