摘要

作为公众演讲的一个分支，英语励志演讲以其独特的语言风格，承载着对英语学习者的期许与祝福。在20世纪初期，公众演讲的研究已经达到了顶峰。但是，此类分析研究主要集中在政治类、经济类等语篇，对英语励志演讲语篇的研究可谓是屈指可数。因此，本文从言语行为理论（以言外行为视角为主）对英语励志演讲进行分析和研究，探讨言语行为理论在英语励志演讲中的可行性以及英语励志演讲对当代英语学习者的影响,具有一定的现实和时代意义。
