摘要 

《面纱》是毛姆根据自己于1919—1920年游历中国的亲身经历创作而成的，它是一部反映人性的女性成长小说，讲述了贪慕虚荣的女主人公凯蒂在无爱的婚姻内，不顾道德伦理,追寻情欲快乐, 由出轨走向自我救赎的全部过程。运用弗洛伊德精神分析理论对女主人公凯蒂的本我、自我、超我人格进行分析，阐释凯蒂的心路历程，让读者了解到一个贪慕虚荣的女性是如何由放纵的本我到最后被救赎的超我，最终获得精神的自由，重新开始了一段崭新的人生。
