摘要

伊恩·麦克尤恩是英国文坛当前最具影响力的作家之一，也是一位多产的作家。作品中以短篇小说居多，内容大多离奇古怪、荒诞不经，被称为“黑色喜剧”。他的作品大多都描绘了人性和社会黑暗的一面，暴力、死亡、性变态和人性阴暗面等问题经常被探讨。因此，伊恩•麦克尤恩赢得了“恐怖伊恩”的称号。中篇小说《水泥花园》是他的代表作。自《水泥公园》问世后，文学界对该小说便有诸多评论，有人从成长的独立欲望与附从角度出发，有人从伦理异化角度出发，也有人从象征秩序下的困顿主题角度出发在不同角度进行阐释。

本文尝试以坚守孤独与反孤独为核心主题，对故事情节进行探讨，目前在这方面的研究很少。水泥花园是一个“哥特式的故事”，讲述了在失去正常社会秩序和规范的家庭荒原中，未成年孩子们经历着痛苦、无序、混沌的成长。以孤独的两面性去探讨，旨在明晰这个家庭在这个环境下哪些行为属于哪一类，当时心里状态如何，在这种状态下导致了哪些异化，以及如何协调孤独与反孤独这一矛盾。 

本文认为，《水泥公园》中的主人公及家人在孤独的环境中，自然产生坚守孤独和反孤独的两种不同的生活方式，表现在这个状态下他们的心理活动，揭露出人性中的善恶美丑，及失去秩序下的家庭荒原，孩子经历的无序、混沌的成长。在异化的水泥公园里，人性中的两面都开始体现。
