A Corpus-based Contrastive Study of than I and than me in American English_英语论文

摘要

本文借助美国近当代英语语料库和美国当代英语语料库考察过去200年than I和than me两个结构的历时变化历程和共时语域差异。调查结果表明，首先，从19世纪初than I的使用到20世纪中期than me 被广泛应用的变化表现了美语显著的口语化倾向。第二，在than I和than me的使用过程中，二者表现了相互竞争、相互僵持的局面。第三，其在各种语域中都体现了鲜明的口语化倾向。最后，本文从词频、语域和搭配角度，分析引起历时变化和共时差异的因素。
