摘要

在英语学习过程中，同义词辨析往往是一个难点。由于缺乏真实语境，学习者较难精确掌握其内在意义。传统的字典通常内容繁多复杂，且在编写时很少专门考虑到同义词辨析。本文以语料库为依据，以avoid, escape, duck和evade为例,力求通过分析同义词的类连接和搭配，语义偏向和语义韵以及语域分布，达到切实理解同义词之间异同的目的。
