摘要

电影《暮光之城》讲述了人类女孩伊莎贝拉·斯旺和吸血鬼男孩爱德华·卡伦相识相爱的过程，是一部充满神秘色彩的爱情科幻电影。本文运用系统功能语法中的人际功能理论，从语气、情态两个方面分析电影《暮光之城》中的对白，研究对话中实现的人际意义和呈现的人物形象。研究发现，人际功能理论对于分析电影对白传达的人际意义和塑造的人物形象具有适用性。此外，本文还有帮助于更深层地认识电影暮光之城中的人物和理解电影中的对话，并为今后的电影人物分析和电影对话功能的研究提供了依据。
