摘要

言语幽默是在人际交往中对合作原则的故意违反而产生幽默的效果。随着应用语言学的发展，越来越多学者从语用学的角度研究言语幽默。本文以格莱斯的合作原则为基础，以美剧《神烦侦探》中的对白为研究对象，围绕着“剧中言语幽默是怎样通过违反合作原则而产生的”展开，采取定量和定性研究相互结合的研究方法对其言语幽默进行研究，从而探索言语幽默的产生机制。经过研究，本文得出结论如下：违反合作原则会产生幽默效果，并且合作原则可以广泛应用于解释言语幽默的机制，欣赏幽默在交际活动中的艺术。对剧中对白的言语幽默进行分析，使观众更好了解侦探型喜剧的幽默内涵，并为以后的喜剧的语用研究提供参考意义。
