摘要

女性主义是关于妇女解放、旨在保护妇女合法权益和捍卫性别平等，最大化地发挥女性的社会力量的运动。女性主义认为，现阶段的社会仍然是以男性为中心的父权社会，男性的社会地位还是普遍高于女性，女性形象的建立不够完善。本文讨论了美国著名女作家哈珀·李的代表作《杀死一只知更鸟》中的四位主要女性角色，探讨女性形象的构建问题。小说以第一视角的形式，讲述了美国南部小镇上女孩斯库特·芬奇成长路上的故事。小说中出现的四个主要的女性角色：主人公斯库特，村民梅耶拉，姑姑亚历山大，邻居莫迪小姐，因其各自的家庭教育背景、个人观念、生活经历的不同，有着不同的命运和处世方法。这些女性形象是当时美国南方社会不同女性的人物映射，她们的存在以及言行举止对研究当代女性形象建设十分有意义和价值。本文试图通过对这四位女性角色进行对比分析，进一步更全面地了解作者本人的写作目的及其女性主义思想，帮助我们重塑自身女性形象、强调女性自身的价值、地位及特质。
