摘要

威廉•萨默赛特•毛姆是英国文坛上颇具争议的一位作家，虽然他从未与一流作家并驾齐驱，但他却在世界范围内拥有庞大的读者群，被誉为“最会讲故事的作家”。 其作品多以讽刺的幽默感揭露了社会上纷繁复杂的道德现象，而《月亮和六便士》更是这一文学创作风格中的典型作品。本文通过同情理论的角度对《月亮和六便士》展开分析，研究该小说中的叙述者及主要人物态度观念上的变化，并且发现，在这些变化的背后是作者对于人际关系中评判这一行为的看法，即，在人际交往中，人们不应随意做出评判。
