摘要

演讲作为一种特定的政治手段，是政治家们通过语言改变国内及国外现实状况、实现其政治主张的有力手段。本文将试图了解系统功能语法理论框架内的人际功能是如何在英语政治演说中实现的。文章选取丘吉尔1940年在敦刻尔克大撤退后发表的“我们将在海滩上战斗”的演讲作为研究材料，从三个部分分析该演讲：语气、情态、人称代词，旨在提高读者对政治演讲的审美意识，让其自主识别语篇中意识形态的操作，同时为今后政治演讲的话语布局提供参考和建议，帮助读者达到演讲目的。研究结果表明，丘吉尔在充分考虑词汇语法的基础上，结合当时国内外社会政治形势等语境因素，多次使用陈述语气、中高值情态动词以及第一人称，因此他的演讲既实现了政治目的，又满足了人际功能。
