Abstract

Great Expectations is a famous novel written by the British writer Charles Dickens, about the hero Pip. This article uses the method of detailed analysis of the article, focusing on analyzing Pip's growth process from four different stages, so as to know his personality and psychological changes at each stage, knowing that Pip's growth was not plain sailing, but there were also growing depravity. Luckily in the end he chose the right way of life, so as to provide readers with a more comprehensive understanding of this role. His growth process has practical significance and can motivate the vast majority of young people to truly realize their self-worth. It is hoped that the majority of young people can be inspired to discover their own deficiencies and advantages.
