基于文本分析解读《献给艾米丽的玫瑰》的写作特色

An Interpretation of the Writing Characteristics of A Rose for Emily Based on Text Analysis

摘要

《献给艾米丽的玫瑰》是美国南方小说代表人物威廉福克纳的作品。这部短篇小说从出版到今天，一直受到读者和评论家的青睐，也是美国文学研究的热点。本文基于文本分析，从哥特式风格、象征主义特征以及叙述手法特征等三方面解读这部小说的写作特色，从而更深入地理解这部小说的内容和意义。

Abstract

A Rose for Emily is the work of William Faulkner, the representative character of American Southern novels. It is also known as the most famous masterpiece of short stories. From its publication to today, it has been favored by readers and critics, and is also a hot spot in American literature research. Based on text analysis, this paper interprets the writing characteristics of the novel from three aspects: Gothic style, symbolism, and narrative technique, so as to better understand the content and significance of this novel.
