摘要

语言与文化之间有着密切的联系，在历史发展中共同演变，数字是语言学科的一个特殊领域，与人类的生活密切相关，除了计数和数学方面的功能，不同地域的文化赋予了数字不同的内涵意义，也影响了人们对不同数字的偏爱和禁忌，形成了各自独特的数字文化。为了保证跨文化交流顺利进行，避免文化误会和冲突，研究数字文化异同显得极为必要。本文试图从文化空缺视角对比英、汉数字文化，探究英汉两种文化赋予数字的丰富文化内涵。
