美国当代著名小说家托尼•莫里森的小说《宠儿》自出版以来，受到了评论界的广泛关注。本文以黑人群体为分析对象，探究奴隶制下黑人群体面临的内部困境和外部困境，黑人群体的演变以及黑人群体书写的意义。其目的在于揭露奴隶制对黑人群体身心的迫害，尤其是对于黑人群体心灵的伤害。揭示黑人群体所面临的危机，以及黑人群体是如何通过一步步的自我完善最后走向融合的。最终旨在还原历史真相，帮助黑人群体摆脱奴隶制的影响，重构其主体身份，为黑人群体未来的发展寻一条可行之路。
