摘要 

随着互联网的发展，人们通过阅读软件进行英语阅读的情况更加普遍。同时，越来越多的学者开始强调英语阅读策略的重要性。文章选取Kindle作为网络时代的缩影，通过查找资料归纳出网络时代英语阅读的特点。此外，为了了解儿童在网上进行英语阅读时所使用的阅读策略，研究以图式理论为基础，采取了网络问卷的调查方法，以小学生和初中生为调查对象。问卷主要包含以下问题：（1）学生是否具有在网上进行阅读的习惯？（2）学生在网上阅读时会采取哪些策略？（3） 学生对经常使用的阅读软件有哪些?（4）对软件所包含的功能有什么样的评价？（5） 学生对Kindle有什么了解？研究发现：（1）大多数小学生不了解有关阅读策略的专业术语。（2） 大多数小学、初中生十分重视词汇并且更喜欢具有实时翻译功能的软件（3） Kindle的独特优势在于它可以提供文章的背景信息。研究介绍了Kindle等阅读软件的特点和功能以及学生在网络上阅读时会采取的阅读策略，为学生选择适合的阅读软件以及采取合适的阅读策略提供了参考性。
