中国英语学习者英语水平与英语短时记忆的关系_英语论文
The Correlation between the Chinese English Learners’ English Proficiency and English Working Memory
摘要
短时记忆是心理语言学研究的范畴之一,包括短时记忆存储以及信息的处理,短时记忆在二语习得方面已被广泛研究。但是,中国英语学习者英语水平与英语短时记忆的关系却并没有什么研究。探索中国英语学习者英语水平与英语短时记忆的关系将会为二语教学工作者提供一份有价值的参考资料,可能为他们更好的进行二语教学提供了另一种思考方式。本研究通过对两个实验组对比试验的方法进行研究。通过实验,结果发现中国英语学习者英语水平越高,其短时记忆越好。结果认为英语水平有助于中国英语学习者的短时记忆,因为测试者对于事物本体自身的知识将会影响其对事物的短时记忆能力。因此,未来将会继续研究其他方面中自身对试验本体的水平与短时记忆的相关性。

Abstract
As the common field of the psychology linguistic researches, working memory contains many aspects such as the working memory storage and the process of information, which has been studied a lot in Second Language Acquisition. However, the correlation between Chinese English learners’ English proficiency and English working memory has been little researched. And the exploration of the correlation between them will provide the second language workers a useful reference for their work, which may give them another teaching method for the second language teaching. The methodology of the study is the use of the comparative experiment, which contains two experimental groups. Through the experiment, results can be found that the higher proficiency Chinese English learners have, the better their English working memory is. The analysis of this finding is that the English proficiency benefits the Chinese English learners because the knowledge of the testers on the test subject can influence the working memory on the subject. Therefore, the future study will be continued to find the correlation between proficiency and working memory in other aspects.
