摘要

语言是人类社会进行交流的重要工具，同时也是文化的重要组成部分，每种语言都体现着该民族的文化信息，而翻译是将一种语言转换为另一种语言的过程，因此，需要我们对各国文化有所了解。中西文化差异往往会导致跨文化理解的失落与扭曲。本文主要通过中西方历史文化、宗教信仰、风俗习惯、思维方式等几个方面分析中西文化差异对情感意义丢失的影响，并在此基础上介绍了几种常见的英汉互译方法和策略。
