摘要

艺术作品具有生命、情感的宣泄和令人惊叹的感染力。在用符号表达情感的过程中,必然会出现沉默现象。抽象符号是一种工具,它可以显示更丰富的内涵,并使艺术展示动人的魅力。由著名的好莱坞导演蒂姆·伯顿指导,改编自丹尼尔·华莱士的同名小说的电影《大鱼》继承了这种风格。它使用多种象征方法来描绘一个童话世界,在表现“水”元素的内涵方面尤其突出。本文从文化象征的角度分析了“水”的意象在电影《大鱼》中的意义，挖掘“水”的意象在不同背景下的文化意义。

Abstract

Artistic works have life, the publicity of emotion and amazing infectivity. In the process of expressing emotion with symbols, it will necessarily appear the reticent phenomenon. Abstract symbol is a tool, which can show a richer connotation, and make the art show the touching charm. Directed by the famous Hollywood director Tim Burton, and adapted from Daniel Wallace's novel of the same name, the film big fish inherits this way. The director uses many approaches of symbolism in this story to depict a fairy tale world, especially prominent in the performance of the "water" element. This paper is about the "water" image in the film big fish from the perspective of cultural symbolism to explore the cultural significance that the images of "water" constructs under different backgrounds.
