摘要

电影《肖申克的救赎》使得导演弗兰克·达拉邦特声名大噪，2007年他再次改编斯蒂芬·金的小说《迷雾惊魂》，两位艺术大师智慧的结合造就了《迷雾》这部经典的恐怖影片佳作。本文以美国电影《迷雾》为对象，研究剧中主要人物的性格特点，以期揭露人性的多维度性和矛盾性，即人性既具有崇高的一面也具有卑微弱小的一面，在危机情况下，人性会扭曲变形。

Abstract

The film The Mist is adapted from the novel of Stephen King who is the most popular master of horror thriller, and directed by Frank Darabont whose masterpiece is The Shawshank Redemption. By analyzing the major characters in The Mist, this paper reveals the vanity and cowardice in human nature and concludes that humanity is complex, and human nature is likely to be distorted and perverted when crises strike.
