Contrastive Analysis of Little Women in the Context of Feminist Translation Theory

摘要

在女性主义翻译观中，其翻译过程不断根据女性主义的翻译需要而做出语言选择的过程，其中倾向于采取增补、加前言和脚注、劫持等翻译策略，不断注入女性主义的意识形态，以达到其预期的翻译目的。本文试图从女性主义翻译理论角度对《小妇人》三个中文译本进行比较与研究。以女性主义翻译理论为支撑，通过三个译本对原文各个方面的描述的差别，说明了女性主义翻译观指导下的如添加前言、增补、劫持等翻译策略在翻译过程中的应用。后得出在女性主义翻译理论下对译者女性意识差异与翻译来研究文学形象会充实丰富文学翻译的研究内容，使翻译理论研究者对传统的文学形象有一个新的定位，从而可以拓宽我们翻译研究的新视域。

Abstract

Feminist translation theory advocates interventionist translation practice and emphasizes the way feminist translators use language as a manipulative tool to intervene the process of translating the origin text. The specific strategies employed by feminist translators in their translation are supplementing，prefacing and footnoting，and hijacking．This article attempts to analyze Little Women of different versions from the perspective of feminist translation theory. Based on feminist translation theory, the thesis discusses the translator’s subjectivity, and analyzes different characters in view of feminism to see whether there are the subjective complement, discrimination desalination and deleting to the character, and point out the strategies of feminist translation such as prefacing and footnoting，supplementing and hijacking in the translation. The study on feminist consciousness will enrich literature translation research，and make a new allocation about the image of traditional literature．As a result，it can broaden our horizon on the translation study．
