摘要

进步主义教育运动作为美国20世纪教育史的一个重要章节，对美国教育的改革与发展，产生了全面的，深刻的革命性影响，但意义远不限于此。在全球一体化的背景下，运动所提出的问题不再是美国教育改革的特有问题，而是揭示了教育改革中普遍存在的问题。伴随着科教兴国战略的持续推进，基础教育发展作为教育领域中流砥柱的一环，我国也愈发重视基础教育改革情况。自建国之后我国已经进行到第八次基础教育课程改革了，新一轮基础教育改革现今在如火如荼进行中。全面认识进步主义教育运动及运动中取得成功的典型实验学校所运用的理念、方法等，借鉴其成功经验，吸取失败教训，同时紧跟中国教育改革的时代步伐，能为当前我国的教育改革提供良好的启示。本文旨在通过深入了解我国基础教育改革的现状，结合运动中六所成功典型实验学校所运用的典型理念、方法等，以寻求对我国现行的基础教育改革中的学生观、教师观、课程观、教学观及教学管理的启示。
