摘要

《动物庄园》是英国著名作家乔治奥威尔的代表作之一，小说讽刺了一个极权主义社会。该书还曾被“时代”杂志列为一百部最佳英文小说之一。

作者以象征手法，实则影射上世纪三十年代苏联实行的“斯大林模式”。文学评论界对于《动物庄园》的分析由来已久，大多是从极权社会下各阶层的人的心理来研究，而对于社会各方面制度的研究相对较少。

本文以《动物庄园》为依托，比较“动物庄园”和苏联社会的社会制度相似之处，旨在深入分析斯大林领导下苏联的政治体制存在的局限性。本论文通过文献资料分析法，比较分析法等方法，探讨苏联政治体制的局限性，最后阐述其对现世政治的警示意义。本文以《动物庄园》这部小说为载体，以斯大林统治时期的苏联为研究对象。把小说同历史联系起来，分析小说文学性的同时解读历史，对重温历史有重要意义。
