中学英语教学中中国传统文化的缺失及对策

Insufficiency of Chinese Traditional Culture in English Teaching of Secondary Schools and Its Countermeasures

摘要

中国传统文化历史悠久,底蕴深厚,中学生应该掌握。英语教学并非只教授英语文化。根据中学英语大纲,中学英语课堂也是学习中国传统文化的重要平台,但是目前中学英语课堂教学中的中国传统文化教育严重缺失,既影响了英语学习,也不利于爱国主义精神的培养和跨文化交流的实现。把中国传统文化融入中学英语教材、中学英语课堂教学和课后教学,并且提高英语老师的传统文化教学意识,是在中学英语教学中提高中国传统文化教育的有效途径。

Abstract

Chinese traditional culture has a long history and cultural background that secondary school students should master it. And English teaching does not just teach English culture. According to English Curriculum Standards, secondary school English class is also an important platform to learn Chinese traditional culture. However, there is a serious insufficiency of Chinese traditional culture in secondary school English teaching, which not only affects the English learning, but also does harm to the cultivation of patriotism and the realization of cross-cultural communications. It is an effective way to improve the Chinese traditional culture education in secondary school English teaching by integrating Chinese traditional culture into secondary school textbooks, secondary school English in-class teaching and out-class teaching, and enhancing teachers' traditional cultural awareness.
