摘要

毛姆在《月亮与六便士》中描写了三位女性：做作虚伪的斯特里克兰德夫人,薄情不道德的勃朗什,和纯朴无知的土著姑娘爱塔。本文通过分析毛姆自身经历以及当时他所处的社会环境来说明毛姆在《月亮与六便士》中对女性的描写是带有个人色彩的。因此，笔者不赞同毛姆在作品中描绘的女性形象，相反，这三位女性都是一些敢爱敢恨的女子，值得我们敬佩。
