On the Escape Theme in Alice Munro’s Runaway_英语论文

摘要

加拿大著名女作家艾丽斯•门罗在她的短篇小说集《逃离》讲述了几位生活在加拿大小镇上的平凡女子在成长过程中面对亲情，爱情或者友情的两难困境的时候选择不同方式逃离的故事。本文拟通过对多个女主人公的生活经历、情感状态和思维方式，和她们踌躇、迷茫、困惑又无奈的状态的分析, 探析她们选择逃离的真正原因，进而深入地挖掘小说的逃离主题。

本论文由四部分组成，第一部分简单地介绍了作者、作品以及论文研究的目的与意义。第二部分为国内外的研究现状。第三部分分析了作品的主题，着重从四个不同的角度分析作品《逃离》的主题：逃离亲情、逃离自我，逃离爱情和逃离友情。第四部分是对本论文的总结。
