The Comparison of Chinese and American Senior High School Teaching

摘要

现如今随着经济的发展，不同国家间的教育理念和教育方式已成为很多学者讨论的热门话题。中美两国均是世界上的教育强国，基于不同的文化起源，中美教育在很多方面存在差异。

本论文将视角深入到高中教育，对中美高中教育进行对比分析。首先详细阐述了中美对教育的理解。基于此，从多个方面对比分析中美高中教育，如教学方式、教学态度、师生关系、课程类型、大学录取制度对高中教育的影响以及高中生校内外生活。不同的文化和国情决定了不同的教育方式，本论文旨在分析中美高中教育的差异，从而取其精华去其糟粕，进一步提高我国的高中教育水平。

Abstract

Nowadays, the teaching idea and teaching method between different countries have become a popular topic in the process of economic globalization. As two important powers in the world, the education between China and America has many differences which are based on different culture.

This paper aims to make a comparison between Chinese and American Senior High School Teaching. First of all, it states the different educational ideas clearly. Based on those, this paper analyzes the differences of Chinese and American Senior High School Education from various aspects, including the teaching method, the teaching attitude, the relationship between students and teachers, the curriculum types, the influence of College Admission to Senior High School Education and the students’ life. Different culture and national condition lead to different teaching method. This paper tries to analyze the difference between Chinese and American Senior High School Teaching, then, we can take the essence and discard the dregs from it to improve our High school teaching level.
