浅析美剧字幕翻译的特点与策略-以美剧《生活大爆炸》中的字幕翻译分析为例

On the Subtitle Translation characteristics and strategies of American TV Series-A Case study of The Big Bang Theory

摘要

随着影视产业和国际交流的发展,中国观众现在有机会观看美国电视节目。字幕翻译在这个进展中起着不容小视的作用。越来越多的美国电视剧进入到人民大众的生活之中，除律政，悬疑，动作科幻等类型的美剧之外，情景喜剧以其轻松幽默，贴近生活的特点吸引力广泛关注，近年来广受国内观众喜爱的美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》正是其中典型。字幕翻译,作为一种特殊的翻译模式,有其自身的特性和技术限制。为使大众更好地欣赏并理解影片内容，达到更好的翻译效果，在字幕翻译的过程中要采用不同的翻译策略。以翻译目的论为指导，本文简要探讨美剧的字幕翻译的特点和采用的翻译策略。

Abstract

With the development of television industry and international communication, Chinese audiences nowadays have the opportunity to watch American TV shows. Subtitle translation plays a significant role during this progress.In addition to suspense, action science fiction and other types of TV drama, sitcom with its traditionally close link with ordinary people's lives attracted a wide audience. The Big Bang Theory is a typical one. The subtitling of foreign TV serious, as a special translation mode, has its own features and technical constraints. In order to make the public to better appreciate and understand the film content, achieve better translation effect，proper translation methods should be adopted in the course of translation. Based upon the Skopos theory, this paper states the subtitle translation characteristics and strategies of American TV Serious.
