摘要

中西文化各属于两种完全不同的的文化体系，但其中语言的相互交流让文化的传播更加具体。诗歌更是一个国家语言的浓缩，它使用最凝练的文字传达了物质和精神, 时间和空间，理智和情感等，其中的文化因素是理解和欣赏诗歌的关键。诗歌翻译是加强文化交流的有效媒介，在翻译过程中译者应当注重与文化等因素的紧密结合。《西风颂》是雪莱所写的诗歌“三大颂”中的最具代表性的一部作品，同时也是英语诗歌中的瑰宝级作品，历来得到无数翻译大家的青睐，至今已有十种左右的汉语译本。本文试通过对中西方国家不同的思维方式,价值观，历史背景，生态地域文化以及宗教信仰等角度的分析，指出诗歌《西风颂》翻译过程中应注意的文化问题，从而找出应对翻译难点的翻译策略，让译者在翻译《西风颂》过程中能够正确面对文化差异，以求翻译之传情达意。
