杰罗姆•大卫•塞林格是二十世纪美国一位出色的作家，他的著名小说《麦田里的守望者》被认为是二十世纪美国文学的经典作品之一，这部作品领导了美国文学创作的新潮流。本文通过解读《麦田里的守望者》，旨在展现战后美国青少年精神面貌，呼吁学校、家庭和社会关心青少年的身心成长以及为小说提供更深入的文本阐释。论文主要探讨小说主题，理解主人公形象，分析语言特色及艺术表现手法，综合分析家庭、学校、社会生活的影响，结合小说的创作背景探讨小说的文化意义，尤其关注偶像破坏文化对20世纪50、60年代文学的影响。

Abstract

Jerome David Salinger was considered one of the most prominent writer in the twentieth century in America whose masterpiece "The Catcher in the Rye" was regarded as one of the classic work in that period which still led a new tendency of American literate production.The thesis will expound the masterwork to depict the postwar adolescence mental state and through which we appeal to more attention to the teenager's physical and mental health and progress thus make a further analysis of the novel. The thesis mainly focus on discussing the theme, comprehending the protagonist, analyzing the linguistic features and Aesthetic presentation techniques and study comprehensively on the effect which was exerted by family, school and social life associating with the writing backdrop and cultural significance especially on the effect of the literature resulted from the spoilage of the idols in the 50s and 60s
