服饰类词汇的英汉互译研究
A Study of the C-E Conversion of the Vocabularies on Clothing
摘要
在经济全球化的背景下,时装产业也在快速发展。 翻译作为汉语与英语两大语言之间转化的媒介,其地位尤为突出。中国服饰翻译研究起步较晚,在最初没有得到充分重视,且鉴于英语服饰词汇特殊的文法组成和语际之间翻译的文化差异,以现有的翻译原则以及研究成果,无法解决服饰词汇翻译中的问题。本论文通过文献分析以及案例研详解的方法,以对比分析一些有代表性的案例为基础,通过综合已有服饰类词汇翻译方法,归纳了几种实用服饰类词汇英汉翻译策略,相信能极大帮助服饰类词汇翻译的进一步发展,实现语言的再创造。

Abstract
In the background of economic globalization, fashion industry has developed rapidly. Translation as a vehicle for the conversion between Chinese and English plays a vital role.Clothing translation studies in China started relatively late which has not been fully realized and in view of its particular stylistic characteristics and cultural differences, the problem of clothing vocabulary translation cannot be solved thoroughly by current translation principles and study achievements. This thesis summarizes several approaches for clothing vocabulary translation by means of document analysis and case study. In this very basis we conclude some effective and practical strategies for the English-Chinese brand name translation which is believed to help clothing vocabulary translation make great progress and the most important is the re-creation on the basis of the source language.
