归化与异化视角下的《张培基散文》翻译_英语论文

Zhang Peiji's Prose Translation from the Angle of Domestication and Foreignization 

摘要

张培基先生的散文翻译在读者中有很好的口碑。就其英译本的成功原因而言，优秀的翻译策略功不可没。而翻译实践中的两种主要策略——归化和异化，是近年来翻译界研究和争论的焦点。本文对《张培基散文》及其英译本进行了细致的研究，指出成功的异化和归化是这部译作的成功关键所在；并且从词法和句法层面上进行了分析，以大量实例分析采用归化与异化的翻译策略所带来的实际效果，达到了功能和意义上的对等。

Abstract

The translation of Zhang Peiji’s prose enjoys great popularity among the readers. The success of the English version is largely attributed to the translators’ triumphant use of translation strategies. And domestication and foreignization work as two main strategies in translation, which constitute the bone of contention in our lately translation circle. This paper points out that domestication and foreignization is the core value of this great work based on the dedicated analysis of Zhang Peiji’s Modern Chinese Essays and its translated version, and does a great analysis from the lexical and syntactic perspective. It reaches a great equivalence both in function and sense through many examples, using domestication and foreignization as a key translation strategy.
