摘要

目前，随着改革开放的深入，我国的旅游业也迅速发展。旅游翻译也在吸引着人们的注意。作为旅游翻译的一部分，名胜古迹的翻译水平却参差不齐。由于旅游翻译的特殊功能以及名胜古迹的特点，决定了他们的名称不能仅仅用拼音来表示。所以，笔者分析了名胜古迹的功能和特点，进而解析了名胜古迹的翻译方法——音译，意译，音译加上意译以及音译加上解释。最后，笔者综合考虑了各方面的因素，得出音译加解释是名胜古迹的最佳译法对的结论。

Abstract

Nowadays, with the deepening of reform and opening-up, the tourism industry of our country has rapidly developed. The tourism translation has attracted people’s attention. As a part of tourism translation, the translation of places of historic interest is of different levels. Due to the special function of the tourism translation as well as the characteristics of the places of historic interest, the name of them cannot translate only by using Chinese Pinyin. So, the writer analyzed the function and characteristics of the places of historic interest, then parsed the following translation methods---- transliteration, free translation, transliteration plus free translation, as well as transliteration plus explanation. In the end, the writer take all factors into consideration to the conclusion that transliteration plus explanation is the best method to translate the places of historic interest.
